Meditate
No forced rhythm. Attend to the breath at the nostrils or the belly. Nothing to control.
Anapanasati — the breath-awareness practice at the root of Buddhist meditation.
Restore
A 5.5 second inhale, a 5.5 second exhale. 0.09 Hz — the resonance rate.
Coherent breathing — the rate at which heart rhythm and breath fall into phase.
Reset
Two inhales through the nose, then one long release. The downshift between tasks.
The physiological sigh — the breath pattern the body already uses to reset itself. Commonly used for rapid downregulation.
